Why was the Prybar created?

After testing numerous breaching tools for individual use and finding nothing that met my needs, I set out to design something better. The Prybar features a unique glass ripper profile, specifically engineered to break and cut through tempered and laminate glass—a tool that gets the job done efficiently.

Laminate glass is becoming more common in vehicles, with 1 in 3 cars now featuring it on the front driver and passenger windows, as well as the windshield. Unlike standard glass, laminate glass cannot be shattered with a traditional window punch, making it crucial to have the right tool for emergency situations.
