Tom Marshall
Soldier and Author
Tom Marshall, currently the Director of Communications for Staccato, has had a diverse career in both public service and the private sector.
After graduating from the US Merchant Marine Academy with a BS in Logistics & Transportation, he served four years of active duty as a U.S. Army Cavalry Officer, including a year in Iraq. Later, as a private security contractor supporting the U.S. intelligence community, Tom deployed to Afghanistan over a dozen times.
In the private sector, Tom focused on editing and publishing within the firearms industry. He was notably a senior editor for RECOIL magazine and editor-in-chief for OFFGRID magazine.
Close and Destroy is Tom Marshall’s first novel. His signature knife, the Contingency Dagger, is directly inspired by his experiences while serving in the U.S. Army.
